Strange isn't it that sometimes nature can be summed up in one word:

majestic.

 

All trees by their nature

are beautiful.  This one I call the Goddess tree.  In optimum conditions and location, she can grow to enormous proportions.  She resides in the Ruth Bancroft Succulent Garden in Walnut Creek -- living treasure of a place.  

Nature

was here first.  Who's trespassing?  

Tenacity

 In all forms of nature.  Lots to learn in the spilling of dirt; in the disruption of concrete.  

Perhaps, nature's Christmas balls

 are the best.  

This is how a poem sees

 itself as always part of nature.  Nature, as in, its fullest spectrum of gestures & possibilities.  

Doesn't take a lot of thought

to feel the sacred in nature.  Trees are a great beginning.  Eucalyptus, in particular.  How far the effects of roots extend. Reminds me of soups and stews when Autumn begins its sharp chill.
