Otherworldly & other blessings

I'm fascinated with the otherworldly which I encounter frequently.  I'm drawn to the strangeness, to the unpredictable beauty.  Perhaps, an example or two will help.

Let's begin with turkeys.  Not any kind.  Wild turkeys.  I think of them as colorful, feathered artichokes on stilts.

Another word for "otherworldly?  Primordial.
