Winter negotiates with Spring

and in good time, purple wildflowers appear.  Won't be long; the wheel is turning.  Each morning, a petite turning.

It's January.  Stay cozy; I don't care if it's a few degrees above average.  I'm telling you, stay covered, cuddled.  Watchful.

especially considering this iris bloomed yesterday.  Fragile strength -- something to emulate on a special day.
