Spilling shadows
Trees are remarkable in so many ways. Critical for good living. And like the raven, they have a bit of the trickster in them. Or perhaps, they just want to be paint-poets.

Alone but not lonely
During this pandemic it's about separate yet together. Trees are miraculous. I think of trees as that liminal space between sky & ground. A canopy for creative spirits. When a tree shakes its leaves, I am showered with petite poems. By the way, I think of Zoom as a tree, do you?
Speaking of miraculous, I think of hands as the first spoon.

Natural altars
alter the heart, feed the spirit, house the spirits. These magnificent beings create poems & are poems themselves. Also, trees inspire plants to be cooked, eaten & praised. Trees are organic nurturers, too.
