triangular heartbreak in a city at risk, and still i walk its streets remembering such piers and parks and people one does meet when you are 20 and brand new. light still provokes the mind into remembering escapades with a sense of them never quite disappearing though knowing it would not do to go back there. Many of that time have gone away, to other cities, to other lands, to places we shall maybe go one day too. In a way it seems I have stayed behind to mind the store, keep the lights on just in case someone returns for a cup of tea or a cold martini. We must always be prepared for that to happen, true?
