i know intuitively

rocks love to be accompanied by a cello.  Listen, bow across strings;  time is ticking toward 2023. Delicious rain anoints every stone and transforms hills verdant.  Late morning glistens; the 2 cats sleeping.  Soup for lunch and the luxury of remembering an expanding circle of friends.

Always notice a cat's tail

A house filled with kitties is a warm, cozy home.  Ending the year, beginning a new year, a kitty tail tells the tale.  
 

Some times the road

dark & slick with a single light.  Except, of course, for what lies above you. While looking down has its merits, some times all it takes is a long stretch into the sky to hold the pink.  

Simple & elegant

hanging out in winter.  A relaxing walk into the luminous.  What else have I missed seeing in the last 7 minutes.

Waking to a morning of Tule fog

the stately cypress a shadow-tree.  Imagine two crows in flight shredding the gray.  
 

Something left behind

Perhaps an organic ornament for an oak or eucalyptus tree.  Where are the crows to lift up this unraveling sun/

When is a box more than a box?

when 2 kitties are around a box is a sled, a flat home, an unimaginable animal who can be moved across the kitchen floor.  So folks, step into your imagination, but please first reach out and pet Freddy & Fritz.  Or I should have I begun;  a kitty is never simply a kitty -- he's a kinetic bundle of joy, they are family.

Thinking of the solid

and realizing it is nothing more than a basket of atoms whirling with galaxies between.  Well, perhaps that's speculation. But the veins are lovely.  Guess I'll contemplate my left hand.
