Yellow

Petals & stripes.  I find this an intimate novel happened upon.  Lovely.  Perhaps, the lesson if there be one:  trust in the unexpected especially as Spring is closer than it was yesterday. Seriously, did you think I wouldn't mention that I'm smitten by the red center?  

Even when static

flowers have a swagger and a swirl about them.  They love a bit of purple.  A tad of red.  
 

An evening of drama

Light on the wall and our imaginations flood with color.  Just like memory.  Suddenly, I wish to cook red beets.  Embrace red.  Embrace shadows.
