Memory loves erasures

Invents a story to go with absence. Just ask the spoon how she feels about an empty bowl. Or a pen facing the final page of a notebook. No reason not to celebrate the invisible.

  1. A reviewer writes about Yuskavage's paintings, "Each image has the authority of a continuing quandary, freshly recast." Yes, I can understand that. Like one of her salads, with slices of tangerines thrown in at the last minute.
