Does an electric water heater for tea quicken the writing of a poem?

No, is the short answer.
The long answer is the same.
This is not often the case.
One does not rush the sipping of tea.
Or words.

    No sense getting in the car today
    As all her friends would be walking
    Here the birds are appearing
    so easily lured by food and sun

    What of the times you feel it happening
    the stillness, the brutal wondering stopped
    one afternoon a guest of the proprietor's
    the next an outcast, wandering the hills
