What about a bagel inspires a poem?

Structure. The bagel is a great example of wrapping itself around the nothing.

In poetry this occurrence is called silence.

    No sooner has the back door opened
    than the frantic breeze beckons
    She thinks of screen doors
    on an ocean voyage
    and complex mount bars
    in the class on acrobatics
