In which 3 ways is poetry time-sensitive?

Seasonal. Influenced by nature and literary fashion.
Age. Of the poet. Of the times.
Experience. The rock-sold daily and the imagination.

A cook is timer-tethered. By

clock
hand
nose
eye.

Tonight, serve risotto classico with a sprig of rosemary around which is a ring of the ripest diced tomatoes w/roasted shallots.

You did not touch the magic stone
    just to see it weep
You wanted something to come true

When we walked into the city
    and found the perfect bench
We sat for just a moment, then left

At dinnertime the pond was quiet
No birds had yet been by
Still you looked for me, I know

What was I supposed to do
I wondered later, in the dark
Find the note you wrote her?

    We ate your delicious soup
And remarked how spring was late
    and unusually wet this year
