An evening of drama

Light on the wall and our imaginations flood with color.  Just like memory.  Suddenly, I wish to cook red beets.  Embrace red.  Embrace shadows.

A hand always reaches for a rose

especially when  there is music.  And when is there not?

Now in my 7th decade

I find myself no longer annoyed by incomplete sentences.  Phrases (the shorter the better) suit me well.   And should you ask, abstracts are my landscape of choice.

One among many

Not an interloper.  An unexpected guest with privileges to linger.  Is there a more perfect place to end-up than a bed of bearded irises?  Purple, too.  If you translate the imagine into taste, you would be enjoying a platter of Spring asparagus appointed with a few borage flowers.  Yup, yummy.  So, linger.

To really see a small part of the larger

comes with the joy of walking.  And when walking in Bancroft Succulent Gardens, magic happens.  Simple.  Profound.

Tenacity, progeny

and hope springing all around us.

I hope

tomorrow brings the same number of ducklings.  What I see as cute, is survival.
