Imagination

ignites an email.  How so?  Email a recipe and you are sending taste.  And color.  Email a poem and you are forwarding feeling.  And thought.   Tangible & virtual, vegetal & mineral is imagination.  Now, should we consider imagination as plural?

Glass

A folded candle holder -- iridescent.   Vaguely vegetal.  A taste of asparagus.  What's vegetal in a poem?

Bamboo

shoots.  Edible.  And the tree -- notched & flexible.  Elegant with skin you wish to touch.  Who doesn't love to touch paper.  Ask any pen.

Grapes

Whenever I eat a good grape I marvel how sweet & wet love each other.  Makes me think of the fountain pen loving paper.  And if the poem be sweet & wet wouldn't that be a marvel, too.

Color

Color changes.   Changes with the perception of the seer.  Changes with light.  Changes with emotion.  No different than food.  No different than words.  Do any two people experience a lemon exactly the same?  Do any two folks write about lemons with the exact same words?

Toast

The smell of comfort.  And anything put upon it -- welcomed.  Toast is paper primed for a poem.  Smell & eat.
