Bamboo

shoots.  Edible.  And the tree -- notched & flexible.  Elegant with skin you wish to touch.  Who doesn't love to touch paper.  Ask any pen.

    A neighbor's bamboo begins to hide her view of the Bay. There is no law against growing your trees to any height. This disturbs her late at night. Will she climb the fence with a weapon to cut the bamboo? Will they notice it is cut? Will she injure herself in the attempt?
