of this season, I count whatever wants to bloom. Whether it be amaryllis, fungi, or the Northern California hills turning verdant.

A breathable kingdom
verdant. Invitation to put on red boots and explore. The same path is never the same. I'm thinking of the the familiar trees how they curve, how the daily archs to embrace adventure. I say, the simpler the better for the simple is just that was well as complex. Embracing the opposite, each adventure has its curves, its center, and spot of blue. Perhaps, a couple of puddles. Oh, those red boots how they take on the world -- one step at a time.

Is it January?
California brown hills turn verdant. Hope always comes from home. From the earth. Also, I guess from the kitchen. Or a simple pen put to generic paper. A branch to the sky.
