Neighborhood walk at sunset
Twenty one miles north east of San Francisco. No bridge in sight unless you consider the arch of a flock of migrating Canada geese.

Trix tree
Ann's favorite tree. She called them Trix trees (yes, after the cereal). Looks like it would be in manzanita family but more closely related to the strawberry clan. I think of them as sunset/sunrise trees after their brilliant red & yellow fruits. Bell-shaped flowers like a manzanita, too. What could be grander or more colorful to celebrate Ann.
