A humongous red-marbled sun this morning. Beautiful & eerie. Eerie as the word "eerie." And yet, I couldn't pull away from it. Tea with a red marble. Perhaps, strawberries for breakfast.

Kale and company
Vibrancy helps during a pandemic whether it's Spring being Spring or a strawberry thanking Balsamic vinegar for jazzing it up a bit. Salty blue cheese, walnuts, mandarin oranges, and mildly sautéed kale. Olive oil, a given. Perhaps not a traditional breakfast but a breakfast indeed. Some poems are like this breakfast -- vibrant words on a page taking a clue or comfort from its community.

Here's how I read the traffic sign:
stop to take a picture. Who can resist poppies & Angel's trumpets. Brugmansia, even the word is lush. Who can resist pendulous flowers with no spine with no fruit. Speaking of fruit, this season's strawberries (so far) are so near and so luscious. Yield to them as you yielded to pen & paper this morning.
