Nope
not a starfish on a rock nestled against succulents. This is a corpse plant, enticing pollinating flies by its rotten scent. Bancroft Gardens is a treasure trove of the unexpected as well life should be.

When tomorrow arrives
one of my happy places opens

I anticipate the shape of each fractal much like a poem or the scent of something yummy.
I wish the same for you.
Bancroft Gardens, Walnut Creek.
