Here's the line:  "She was no where to be seen although an oboe had been carefully placed on the small wooden table next to a glass of water."

  1. Good image! Must read again about morandi, distiller of form and satire. I can't agree with the critic who posed that theory, as I see no satire in a still life, with life in it as he points out. Must get back to my easel one day. Can't seem to figure out what to say, or not say. Maybe should not figure, but just splash about, unthinking, unworrying, unfettered. It's time for a walk, obviously.
