ReplyDeletewe were waiting in the rain
for a train to take us home
no breaking eons compete
when the giddy skies open
the wind has no boundaries
it caressed us both
so far from each other
that summer
a breeze rustles the gingko tree
& I wonder if she left me a message--
does she know how little it would take
to warm this drifting morning?
