 we wait for rain.  What are you waiting for?  And why?

Surrounded by conversations

Not just the usual eavesdropping in a favorite coffee.  Consider morning conversing with night.  Perhaps, conversation is a related to negotiation.  Think about that.

Spring is

a jumble of the unexpected -- welcomed.  Much like a meal of leftovers nourishes eyes & body.

 the unfamiliar familiar, looking for Due North.  

You've been here before

 but not quite sure how to return.  Dreams have their own time clock, their own agenda.

I happened to be there

to witness the annual blooming of the Puya in SF's Arboretum.  Otherwordly and majestic bromeliads. Queen of the Andes. I came, I saw, I'm grateful.   

You never know what night will illumine?

 Quickly name al the noir foods?  Begin with black olives, black dates and then?  And then?  

Shadow as new growth

succulents being experts at this.  What adventure will you accept today as it is more difficult to see shadows in the rain.

Perhaps, what would be helpful is a pinwheel.  And a proper lunch with a friend.  Then a long, long leisurely walk.  Not harm will be created.
