The first gardenia bloom


for this plant.  Feels like time's baptism.  I'm sure you can smell the bloom's perfume no matter on what parcel of land you stand.  Today, I "weeded" the kitchen herbs and my hands so fragrant.  Today, I'll cook only food of beguiling perfume and walk softly on purple shoes.

  1. Meanwhile, she licks the lollipop to keep up her energy, the empty calories a hint of self-denial. Sawdust kicked itself up in our faces and felt like exuberant nostalgia, a token of fortunes once made and lost. How lucky, she thought, to have such friends, such memories, such a timbre of faith in the dimly lit doorway, like a candle in the once endowed church.
