When mint looks like kale


does kale look like mint?   And you ask, what that marble of a full moon at the bottom under a full sun.  Marinated kumquat.  The rest -- pure elixir.  Liquid poetry.  A dialogue of circles & lines.

    Notes while watching morning tv

    Observation is activity arrested but comical in possibilities.
    Watching is a subtle intrusion,
    but acceptable pleasure
    unless objects are inanimate.

    Is projection ever without life?

    Nothing here intrudes but a stripe
    on the old film of various
    greedy relatives.
