Tea. How does making tea interweave with a poetry reading?

Leaves, of course.

Add the essential to tea (aka H2O) and leaves unfurl, expand. Tea's essence -- it's gift -- invites you in.

Give voice to a poem and words leave the page, inviting the audience within.

    Yesterday walked to the end of Chenery, then the beginning of Sanchez, then stopped at Elisa's for pot of tea and snack to go. Wanted only that kind of tea, in that place, at that time. Sorrows steamed away. Sun newly received. Clean and clear me and my new mind walked home.
