Can a meal be imaginary? A favorite food anticipated (salmon, for instance)

    Speakeasy

    on a sullen river
    gambling as it were
    so shaken the cards and ale
    we found the worn-out darn

    now warmth has done again
    what spring can hope to start
    a return, a semblance
    of the sixty-one hearts
