Can a poem be written devoid of audience?

No. Always, someone/something listens. People & pebble. Sometimes, an audience of one – the poet.

I’ve heard it said, at minimum a meal requires one eater. Food’s audience, if you will.

    hey what clock can't stop
    sand hick substance foamer

    useless fathom and departing
    frame

    sport his stupid tie
and concert to the grim fund

    never dread a peaking strum
    my pond dips to Guatemala

    rubble tips apart the ethos
got far too along the edge

    shouts if they ripen
    forgone glassy voice tag
