Like candles

 a bell is always welcomed.  What is she summoning?  

Pretty in pink,

 Freddy waits for Spring and an abundance of birds.  

Looking up

 and through and into what?  Some mornings are like that.  Or is this time's new calligraphy?  

As a dear friend used to say:

 "It is what it is."  That phrase seems to resonate multiple times a day.
