Blood orange limes
Yes, true limes with the skin and flesh the color of blood oranges. And yes, the taste also. How does this relate to poetry? Occasionally (very) a poem and/or a few words coalesce into something shockingly new. Shockingly good. And, yes, memorable. Sometimes, small as a lime with a fire-red coat.

Kale
Intensely green. What's a green poem?
Verdant.
Alive.
Nourishing
& very accepting by the mouth
How like a page is a slice of kale. Ruffled, perhaps. Full of ravines like most words.
