Hear it in a different way? Understand it in a different way? The original is meaning and voice.



What is the original voice of a cook? Signature dish. Can you duplicate?

    BATTER UP

    listing the nods from one aging cherub
    but to the right side of a pothole
    no screaming on the imprint, no sibilance

    I'm hoping for more ribs some day
    or I'll take my chances with a hot link
    inside the succulent recants we still find it
