The kitchen is an abundance of landscapes

Nothing like a stainless steel refrigerator to garner the most amazing landscapes -- calmly surreal. This one most likely at night.  Of course, the kitchen abounds in still lives but that's a discussion for another day.

Twisted metal

Perhaps, from a fender of a red truck.  Twisted with intent.  Intentional & spontaneous as sculpture. Or a line of poetry that pops into your head as you lace up those stridently red shoes.  Then again, perhaps you were dreaming of beets.

A moment of

magic.  Soon music will commence.  Just the right sounds.  Undulations will occur.  Just the right movements, nothing too harsh or jarring.  One might say, a liquid ballet. Yes, wait for the fish.  The conductor is always the last to arrive.

the constant painter.  Constant weaver. Patterns from strands of fabric.  The meal from leftovers.  In summer, always a leaf or two of basil in the mix.

Morning abstracted

A humongous red-marbled sun this morning.  Beautiful & eerie.  Eerie as the word "eerie."  And yet, I couldn't pull away from it.  Tea with a red marble. Perhaps, strawberries for breakfast.
