Dried fruits. What do dried fruits share with poems?

With dried fruits, concentration of flavor.
With poems, compression of language.

An auditory/edible memory of the ripe. Be it known, memory is always in season.

Dawn falls to those who look for it
    alone and at a loss
They reach and scrub the rusty night
    forbearance in their hearts

So it was the night we met
    Apart from what we knew

Nice hot tarts! A nice hot tart for you?
